Missouri River Rank Stabilization Phase 1
River’s Edge Trail Closure
GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls has a contract with Winkler Excavating, Inc., for a bank stabilization project. The project is located along the north bank of the Missouri River upstream of the 10th Street Bridge. See attached site map.
The construction activity will require temporary closure of the River’s Edge Trail along the north side of the Missouri River. The closure will extend from the Waste Water Treatment Plant off of 4th Ave NE to the 10th Street Bridge. The contractor will be working in this area between September 19th and November 12th 2022.
During the construction period this section of the trail will be closed. The contractor will provide barricades in the area of construction. The public’s patience and consideration during this process is appreciated.
