2008 PROGRESS

The Black Eagle Connector Trail was paved this spring with a State Trails Grant and match funds provided by Pacific Steel & Recycling.

Trail donors funded the sealing and filling of over 6,700 feet of cracks that had developed over the years on both sides of the river.

This new tunnel under Lower River Road will separate trail users from traffic between Oddfellows Park and Upper River Road next year.
This construction haul road across Overlook Drive from the Visitor Center will eventually become part of the trail extension through Warden Park.

RTI enjoyed working on trail cleanups this year with PEAK, Studio Montage, Scout Troop 43, PPL Montana and other volunteers. Thanks.

Montana Refining Company completed a major irrigation and landscaping project this fall, including many new trees, vines and a vault toilet.
