The Trails Working Group is the multi-agency group established by the City Manager in 1990 to direct and coordinate development, operation and maintenance of the River’s Edge Trail. The group meets monthly to track on-going projects. Andrew Finch, Chair, Senior Transportation Planner, City of Great Falls City of Great Falls Planning Office plans new trail and bike/pedestrian facilities and takes the lead responsibility for managing and executing state and federal construction contracts, processing trail easements and coordinating agency and volunteer improvements and extensions to the on-street and off-street systems. City of Great Falls Park & Recreation Department manages and maintains portions of the trail on city-owned land and on trail easements held by the City.
